Add the following to your /etc/apt/sources.list deb http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.1/Debian stable main then do: apt-get update apt-get install kdm kdebase I've tended to install this over a basic system. Then go into dselect to choose the bits you want. Take care with the dependencies various lib files conflict with previous versions. Often when using dselect since, it has tried to remove a whole raft of KDE3.1 packages. However, if you work through it, it works. I've been using KDE3.1 on my G4 for two or three months now and I am so happy with it, I've been able to move most of my work from MacOSX to Debian ;) HTH Clive -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
