Konqueror has a "fish://hostname/" that handles ssh to look the same as ftp:// or local files for that matter. It's quite convenient to have one tool that does so many different things, either in different tabs or different windows as one wishes at the moment. I was pleased the Konqueror dealt with my locking down passwords on my ssh-only server, and it asks for the passphrase for the private key instead of a password without skipping a beat or behaving any differently.
