It is an elaborately detailed book of pictures, arranged by subject, with words under them -- 368 pages of content, and a detailed index -- 35000 words in all. The section on birds had colour pictures. My copy is printed on paper, and is too old for an ISBN number. I don't know if there is or ever was an electronic version. I don't lnow if it is still in print, but if you manage to locate a copy, it may well be what you want.
