run "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86" and try playing with the resolutions, drivers, colors, etc. Choosing something simple like VESA or VGA and 8-bit color might get you to a "success!" point, which will help you feel like you're making progress. i burned the 1st cd and booted with it. the rest was done thru ftp.
i chose x and web servers.
after installation i login and try to startx.
the screen flashes a few times and i get a fatal error msg saying:
no screens found
how can i fix this?
