Not sure about new printers or duplex printers, but I love the old HP printers (versions III through 5). They just keep running. I did buy a new HP printer that was complete junk on accident with grant money, now I can't remember the model number, but some labmates have a different new HP that's great. I guess you have to watch out for the HP models that are trying to compete on price, they are as junky as all the other brands out there.
