No way. I use it every day of the week (and the weekend) as I'm sitting
on an XTerminal right now. Network transparency is the basis of the LTSP
project and others.
You note you are using Debian Testing. Personally I only use Stable in
production environments (with very judicious use of backports). Who knows
what may be broken in Testing at any given time.
