The latest Adobe Reader available for Linux (7.01) makes that moot!
You don't have to use that trick anymore, the IRS pdf forms are
generated with "document rights", so you can edit a form and then save it!
Although *not open source* Adobe Reader beats the pstoedit + xfig trick
by miles...
