In the case of gsnes9x, the package name is gsnes9x. In the case of
gtkBitchX, the package name is bitchx-gtk. There are numerous packages
called crossfire-*.

In addition to doing dpkg -L <packagename> , it might also be helpful to
examine the contents of /usr/share/doc/<packagename> .
