I've downloaded the two AMD64 DVD Images and tried to install it on my computer. Everything went well until I came to the point, where I have to partitioning my hard drive. The Installer leaves me with the message, that he cannot find it. It is a 160 GB Sata drive, and I have no clue how to fix the problem.
A while ago I had Suse 9 installed on the same system, so I guess it will work in some way and hope, that somebody can give me a hint how to show the installer where to look for the hard drive!
Here are some components of my system:
Motherboard: K8 Combo-Z BIOS P1.30
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
RAM: 2X 512MB/166MHz (DDR333)
OnBoard IDE Controller: DVD Drive
ONBoard Sata Controller: Ali M5229 (Hardware Manager of Windows sayed so)
Hard Drive: Samsung SP 1614C 160 GB
