GTK Themes not appearing right

Hi all,   I installed blueheart GTK theme into ~/.gtk_themes/BHgtk .. then edited ~/.gtkrc and put in it: include ".gtk_themes/BHgtk/gtk/gtkrc" .. Although, the theme doesn't display at all.. my GTK apps just have a browny colour to them... Any reason why? maybe i need to install theme engines? Or are there lines in the themes' gtkrc file i need to uncomment?   Any help appreciated.   Thanks,   SYNeR
