I don't think you can draw _exactly_ parallel lines unless your curve consists of straight lines and arcs. But you should try the following methods: Copy the line, click 'scale' and use the middle mouse button (scale about center). Or copy the line, click 'move points' and adjust the points of the second line so that it becomes parallel to the first one. > 2. how can I create re-useable objects like bridges and canal locks ?
