sure! # aptitude then use '/' to find a package search for '^xserver-xorg$'. hit enter on that entry, go to the bottom of the screen, there should be more that one version available. hit '+' on the version you want. then 'g' and 'g' as normal. after the install, find the package again and hit '='. all done.
