Hi all, I've just installed Debian 3.1 on an old Pentium 200 and the default MTA seems to be exim. Now, as it turns out, I'm a bit more familiar with Postfix and hence I ended up using that on my system.
However, memory is scarce on this computer, so I'm beginning to wonder if Postfix is the best choice. Does anyone have any insight into the respective memory usage of Postfix and Exim? Which uses less memory? I'm currently using the MTA for nothing more than a) receiving mail from fetchmail (which fetches it from my ISP POP account) and b) for getting mail off my system to my ISPs SMTP server.
