Please correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the answer right there in the very
first posting.

Feb  5 13:16:31 localhost kernel: Attached scsi removable disk sdb at scsi6

It's saying the device is scsi6

so shouldn't it be

mount -t vfat /dev/scsi6 /media/flash


?
