Indeed, if I use an "ergonomic" split keyboard I usually get wrist/arm pains in about 15 minutes, but can type all day on a regular keyboard. That, and it's a pain to reach across the keyboard to type the y key with my left hand! (it's a quirk of my typing, i type both the t and the y with the left hand, and i also never use the number pad unless I have to.)
