Try this as root: Close your applications using the sound card ~$ /etc/init.d/alsa-utils stop ~$ rm /var/lib/alsa/asound.state ~$ /etc/init.d/alsa-utils start Now try xmms and see if sound works. /ks -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
