Hi all.

I am in the need of a tool that would allow me to fine tune settings for my
RAM modules such as CAS, RAS and speed.

My laptop bios unfortunately (and unlike desktop bioses do) do not allow me to
make any modification to RAM settings. What happened to me is that I upgraded
my laptop with RAM modules of different brand yet identical specs to the
original ones and since then I experience lock-ups and reboots with a casual
pattern. The system is therefore unusable this way, with the absolut
certainty that, sooner or later (even as I write this email) it could
suddenly reboot itself.

Before dumping the new modules I would like to see if there is a way to make
them "underperform" in order to have a stable system. What I am therefore
looking for is an application which allows me to do this tweaking or any
hints about a possible optimal configuration of the Kernel which would allow
me to overcome the problem.

Many thanks in advance,
