Hello, I am trying to backup a server using rsync to a NFS (autofs) mounted partition, I run:
rsync -rlvP /etc/ /mnt/backup/etc/ and I see: building file list ... 891 files to consider created directory /mnt/backup/etc .pwd.lock 0 100% 0.00kB/s 0:00:00 (1, 0.2% of 891) adduser.conf 2149 100% 0.00kB/s 0:00:00 (2, 0.3% of 891) [...snip...] apache-perl/ apache-perl/conf.d/ rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4 bytes: phase "unknown" [sender]: Broken pipe (32) rsync: close failed on "/mnt/backup/etc/.sudoers.8hvdQc": Permission denied (13) rsync error: error in file IO (code 11) at receiver.c(642) rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (24204 bytes received so far) [generator] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(420) rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (1998 bytes received so far) [sender] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(420) Any ideas what is wrong ? I know the NFS service they offer me is limited and I am mounting it with -fstype=nfs,tcp,nolock,mountvers=3,nfsvers=3,mountport=32049,port=32049 Thanks. -- Pupeno <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (http://pupeno.com) Vendemos: Conocer y collecionar Monedas y Billetes de Todo el Mundo: http://pupeno.com/vendo/#monedas
