I run debian on a 100-MHz Pentium with 48MB ram. It runs fine. But: when I have X up, it has always been slow. Even slower when I started running sarge. I use icewm as window manager, and I wouldn't dream of tryin to use KDE or Gnome. I do use gdm as my screen manager. It gives me a choice of window manager. I pick icewm on its menu. -- hendrik -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
