I just did an update of my debian system, I hadn't done it for a while
so there was a lot to update.
After the update mp3c wasn't working.
Its reporting "cdda2wav: Operation not permitted. Cannot send SCSI cmd
via ioctl"
If I run mp3c as root it can rip the tracks, but it can't seem to write
the playlist properly, and if I interrupt it (F10) it resets my computer
(it doesn't crash it).
I tried to SUID the mp3c executable, but it still doesn't work
correctly. It has trouble writing to the playlist.
Is there a way to get cdda2wav to work without using root?
Thanks for any help.
Regards Neil.
