The way this thing works is: if there's more than one mailcap entry for a MIME type, text/html in this case, mutt will use the first one that works. Check /etc/mailcap and ~/.mailcap. There'll be a text/html for lynx and another for mozilla, and lynx comes before mozilla. A solution: put the lynx entry after mozilla's.
