No. asterix:~$ uname -a Linux asterix 2.6.12-1-amd64-k8 #1 Wed Sep 28 02:31:26 CEST 2005 x86_64 GNU/Linux That's the linux-image-2.6.12-1-amd64-k8 Standard-Kernel. I did have to create the Module, though. But since you're on Sid and i'm on Etch this may vary. It's also depend on the xserver you're using.
