Yes, I regularly get new packages, and they always come from stable (obviously, since I put a pin-priority of 1001). It seems like a bug, but I don't even want to report it unless it is reproducible, that's just wasting time. in /etc/apt/sources.list: deb-src http://ftp3.nrc.ca/debian/ stable main contrib non-free in /var/lib/apt/lists: ftp3.nrc.ca_debian_dists_stable_main_source_Release ftp3.nrc.ca_debian_dists_stable_main_source_Sources in /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp3.nrc.ca_debian_dists_stable_main_source_Sources: Package: fakeroot Binary: fakeroot Version: 1.5.6 Priority: optional Section: utils Maintainer: Clint Adams <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Build-Depends: sharutils, libc6-dev-s390x [s390], libc6-dev-sparc64 [sparc], ia32-libs-dev [amd64], amd64-libs-dev [i386] | lib6-dev-amd64 [i386], libc6-dev-ppc64 [powerpc], libc6-dev-powerpc [ppc64], lib64gcc1 [i386], po4a (>= 0.23) Architecture: any Standards-Version: 3.6.2 Format: 1.0 Directory: pool/main/f/fakeroot Files: cac5f2f495e3cb8bd73106bd83ba5b91 707 fakeroot_1.5.6.dsc 4f26b43c57de53e05ce2c47cf525f1c6 980208 fakeroot_1.5.6.tar.gz So wait... why is the fakeroot source package in there 1.5.6? In stable, I get: $ dpkg --status fakeroot Version: 1.2.10 Does Debian have source packages that don't match the binary in the stable release? I sure hope not. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
