Tip for WLAN application

Hi there

Do anyone of you got a tip for a WLAN application for Debian?
I could need one which can search for wlans and connect to them.
Am not using X.

And how do I configure my PCMCIA card? I can't get it to work. Perhaps I should start a new thread for that question... :)
