Hey All,

I am running Debian (stable) using an adaptec 2100S SCSI RAID controller and
2 x 73G Seagate SCSI HDD's on a (supposedly) hotswap bay in a RAID-1
configuration.

I installed raidutil and when I run raidutil -d 0 -e soft (to view the SCSI
soft errors), I get the following:

11/25/2005 Level 3
HBA=0 BUS=0 ID=1 LUN=0
HBA Error - Selection Timeout

I cant find anything about this on the adaptec website or on the net. Has
anyone seen this error before or does anyone know how I can fix this?

Also, When I did a RAID-1 rebuild, it took over 3 day's to rebuild only 2
drives...

Any help would be greately appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Rabbie.
