Read my reply to my own post.

We are not talking about a pint-sized-country's ISP here, they should exceed
10k LINUX users easily (although I am not sure about 100k LINUX users).

But it is an AOL-style ISP, so the users are quite often clueless... and so
is the entire first and second-level support staff, as usual in these ISPs.

Heh, which one of the 50 or so offices? You need somethink like 1000 pissed
off users to even make them notice, and they better clog the entrace of the
datacenter (and wear heavy protection gear, the police won't like it).

Well, don't report anyone to rfc-ignorant.org on that basis.

Don't assume. You are as off the mark as someone thinking that Microsoft
created the Linux kernel. I won't even bother posting a link, do a Google
search.

A listmaster has to be incompetent to not know about VERP. Of course, he
can _know_ about VERP and still not use it for whichever reason, that
wouldn't qualify him as incompetent at all.

There is no way Warren Togami wouldn't know about it if he is a RedHat
listmaster (I don't know him). What does he consider enough reason to
actually USE VERP, I have no idea.
