Hi! i had this pb too! I don't know if that might help you, but I reinstalled hotplug (but it removed udev... ) and i got everything running like before... So maybe you should look into udev or/and hotplug... I don't really know what happened, but now everything works fine... last thing : I am running unstable, so maybe the pb is not quite the same... good luck!
