[..] The problem was first in the keyboard itself. I cured it by taking it apart and washing the parts in water & soap. Just bad luck it happened right at the time of the upgrade..
But (now using 'testing') I still do not have a perfect keyboard setup. E.g. in "joe" in xterm, the KP_Home and KP_End keys do not work, nor does the mouse wheel. It used to, in Woody. Oh well..
