You have an excellent board with excellent support, I suggest you take advantage of it. Go to Intel's website, search for D865GBF, download the BIOS updates and specification updates (make TRIPLE sure to read these, the one for my D875PBZ had little gems like "Use of a >3GHz processor *without* an omnidirectional cooler will cause the voltage regulator to overheat, and damage the board" and some reversed pinouts in the audio header connector...). > The BIOS says it is "BF86510A.86A.0060.P16", whatever it means. That's the BIOS number. Of interest to you are the three last characters (P16), which is the BIOS release number.
