My problem is not in the BIOS. I can both up the system in text mode even without the keyboard and mouse.
I have narrowed the problem to Xfree86. The XFree86.0.log has the following error msgs: No core keyboard device specified. Unable to determine the screen-layout. What I don't understand is why the lack of a keyboard could determine the screen-layout. I am sure XFree86 can be used without a keyboard as in a tabletPC. I have used one such device with xfvm or fvrm or something like that. Any comment? kangja -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
