Curl may be a better option for http/https. It is the most powerful tool for this other than writing your own. I would suggest looking into that instead. | > I would suggest to use wget instead of lynx in this case. | | Yep, I would suggest that too, but it sounded like the OP had to get | links and then retrieve a specific page from that, and that adds to the | complexity. If it gets really complex, I might suggest writing an Perl | LWP script. The LWP packages are rather imposing, but once you look at | it, the examples are excellent, so even with software that powerful, | you can get some speed quickly. | | Hmmm, right now search.cpan.org had problems, but that's the place to go | to read the documentation in a nicely formatted variant. | | Cheers, | | Kjetil | -- | Kjetil Kjernsmo | Programmer / Astrophysicist / Ski-orienteer / Orienteer / Mountaineer | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Homepage: http://www.kjetil.kjernsmo.net/ OpenPGP KeyID: 6A6A0BBC | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
