I think, you presume correctly :) The man fb.modes explains how to calculate the horizontal and vertical refresh rates. I'm sure those values are calculated with those formulas. In my monitor I have an On Screen Display which tells me the resolution and the refresh rate :) Simo -- :r ~/.signature
