Yes, I understand German. Thank you for the link!

It seems that the `ondemand' governor is available only in 2.6.9 and
later kernels.

Right!

So far I have kept the 2.6.8 kernel.
I'm now experimenting with powernowd which requires the `userspace'
governor which is available with 2.6.8.


In my memory powernowd was better than cpufreqd. But now I use the ondemand governor with kernel 2.6.9 and 2.6.10.
