I don't know a2ps, but in other situations I have has trouble with
footers when my print system was configured for A4 paper and I was
using USLetter paper which is slightly shorter. Look for config.
settings of a2ps
Not in this case: I have set the printer to letter and used
--medium=Letterdj for a2ps and then output to file: no footers show on
the page in gv.
But you are right: setting the printer to letter when you have letter
size paper is critical, as I found out the long way ;-)
