Greetings,
I have been trying to put some self compiled packages on hold, but for some reason apt seems to be ignoring the "hold" status. See below:

xxxxxx:/home/$user# dpkg --get-selections | grep squid
squid                                           hold
squid-common                                    hold
squidclient                                     hold
xxxxxx:/home/$user# apt-get upgrade -dV
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
   squid (2.5.9-10sarge1 => 2.5.9-10sarge1)
   squid-common (2.5.9-10sarge1 => 2.5.9-10sarge1)
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.

Obviously apt wants to replace my packages with the official debian packages. This was working fine before the recent squid security update...

Brett
