And this begs the question, why does gnome-desktop-environment *depend* on something like sound-juicer? Shouldn't that be a "recommends"? What if I prefer to use a different CD ripping app? Why should I *have* to install sound-juicer? And this same question applies to a lot of other packages. Often if I try to upgrade a bunch of stuff, I can't do it, because one little package (one that I don't even use) that something big like GNOME or KDE depends on, isn't available in the version that KDE or GNOME depend on, so apt wants to remove *all* of GNOME or KDE. But I don't even use that little package! And I'm not talking about libs, I'm talking about apps.
