Dear Debian community, My requirements are pretty specific. I don't need much bandwidth at all. I don't need anything faster than 400 MhZ I don't need more than 128Meg But I want my own server, not shared. The hosting service should, of course, specialize in Debian. Stable will almost work, the only trick being the perl package XML::GDOME which relies on a specific verstion of libxml2 not available in stable. If that doesn't float anyone's boat, a suitably debian-esque host would probably work. I would want ports 80, 443, 22 and 25 open. 79 is fine, too.
If the hosting company had facilities in both the US (required) and Europe it would be a plus. Warning! Cheap effort to get more clicks... If you want to see the kind of stuff you'd be hosting, here it is http://narins.net http://narins.net/o/index.html (the old site) I will not accept any host who employs, or has employed, members of US or foreign intelligence services. -Joshua Simeon Narins Aristocratic-Republican (a la Montesquieu) If there were no WMDs, then it wasn't just lies about them... It was lies about Iraqi co-operation and integrity, too. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
