I didn't notice one thing different when I upgraded to X.org yesterday, and
that's a good thing. Everything seems to be working perfectly fine.
That's been pretty much my experience today. My screen seems brighter (is there detection that I'm on a laptop with the power plugged in?) and the fonts are crisp.
When the security announcement about testing was made today I did the update/upgrade and was offered a choice of xfree86 and X.org and took a leap of faith on the latter; I'm not sorry I did that!
