Hi all, I've got a Debian sarge machine, and while I've gone through and removed pretty much everything from :
/etc/crontab /etc/cron.* /var/spool/cron/* if I give cron even a single small job to run, it goes crazy and chews up all the CPU cycles (and also doesn't respond to being stopped via the init script - I have to kill it to get rid of it). I've tried attaching strace to cron, but nothing useful came of it. Has anyone seen this behaviour before ? Cheers Dave -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
