Yes. I put a pure64 2.6 on a AMD64 SMP machine with 1 SCSI and 2 SATAs. The system went on the SCSI, sda. When the install was done, the SATAs were at sdb and sdc. From there I could partition them, mke2fs them, and enter them into fstab. I've never tried installing to a SATA. Since the kernel treats them as SCSI, maybe loading a SCSI module would help. Or maybe stick an old SCSI controller form the junkbox in a PCI slot. -- Glenn English [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG ID: D0D7FF20 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
