hi all I just exited Gnome and logged back in. Seems openoffice didn't exit gracefully, because when I logged in it started up and asked me if I wanted to recover the file I had been working on; I said yes but it just hung. Now I discover that it also failed to save the file (I'm sure I pressed ctrl+S). So I have lost six hours of work! Does anyone know how to ask openoffice (writer) to recover a file? After restarting, it doesn't automatically offer to recover again.
