I could be wrong, but I don't think I made a mistake, I only followed the istructions and the links on the debian site and something went wrong. I had a look at other directories on the server, but could not found anything related to Etch as well. Anyway, if you follow the links on the debian-jigdo page (http://www.debian.org/CD/jigdo-cd/) you get the same, aforementioned, .jigdo file no matter if you choose "stable" or the weekly "testing" snapshot. Put simply, there's no trace of a .jigdo file for the weekly snapshot where it is supposed to be. Both these two directories http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/3.1_r0a/i386/jigdo-dvd/ (where the sarge dvd should be downloaded with jigdo) and http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/dvd/jigdo-area/i386/ (where the weekly snapshot of etch should be downloaded with jigdo) contain the _same_ jigdo files, with the _same_ md5sums. I only followed the links, exactly like I did the first time I got my testing dvds. Only that this time I got stable instead. So something seems to be wrong and needs to be fixed: the links on the jigdo page or the .jigdo files in the appropriate directories. Otherwise I don't really see how could it be possible to get a copy of Etch. I am not complaining, I am just reporting a problem, hoping that this is the right place and hoping that someone can fix it, or at least shed some light on it.
