It may work better to invoke the MSN Messenger installation program
and to have that install into the Wine fake drive.  Running Windows
program right from the existing Windows installation won't normally
work.

The installation programs write stuff to the Registry and whatnot; all
of these are not available when you invoke them from Wine.
