Well I've been looking at suspend2 and the hibernate script nd it's not exactly what I meant... What I want to get is the sleep state that requires no booting when waking up... I used to do that with "apm -s" in my old pc. I think it's also called "suspend to RAM" but I'm not so sure... I also *think* it is the S3 state of ACPI.
