write this line:
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free
to /etc/apt/sources.list
then
# apt-get update
To see the list of available kernels packages:
# apt-cache search kernel-image
or
# apt-cache search linux-image
choose the kernel package, e.g
# apt-get install linux-image-2.6.12-1-686
finally read something about debian apt system :-)
