I am running Sarge with a 2.6.8-2-k7 Kernel, and I have not yet succeeded in installing Libgphot 2-2.1.6 from the .tar.gz file I downloaded. I expanded the file into a directory and ran the install script without it making all the changes required to use gphoto as a GUI.
I can plug my new Canon Powershot A520 in via the USB cable and pull the photos from the card using gphoto? -- Dan Hunt Saint Brieux Saskatchewan Canada
