Dear friends: I have just done a complete, fresh install of Debian 3.1 Sarge.
In the earlier install I created a deb package from the Sun Java jre 5 file in accordance with instructions provided on a Debian site. My question is: do I need to create this package all over again to make sure it works properly on my new version or can I use the old package? What do you recommend? Thank you.
