I just wanted to chime in here. If I'm not mistaken, backports.org does not _yet_ have many backports for Sarge. The packages are almost all backports for the old stable disto (Woody). Here is a quote from the backports.org webpage: "A while ago, Steve Kemp asked what will happen with backports.org when sarge is out. The answer is easy... I'll take a break."
