Sorry for that, I've found the answer -- obviously there *was*
another solution! :) I've been doing it wrong from the start --
instead of "sender_canonical_maps = sender_canonical" I had only
"canonical_maps = sender_canonical" in my postfix configuration
file.
Take it from the guy who spent three days on this! :)
