Weren't there package@debian.org email addresses?

  For some reason I thought that there were [EMAIL PROTECTED] email
addresses that would automatically redirected to the package maintainer.
Yet I fail to find any occurrence for that. Any hints?

    $ vrfy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
    <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> is not deliverable
    [EMAIL PROTECTED] ... User unknown
    $ vrfy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
    <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> is not deliverable
